Once again we come back to 13 Floors for the 3rd year. I love that the decor has not changed. They still have the angel of death above their gate. That was always my favorite part. This thing is HUGE and I have no idea how they keep the thing mounted. AND it moves!!! There aren’t a lot of people here because it’s a Tuesday and they just opened. It’s also Hells Week, which means all haunts are open every night up to Halloween. Because of it being a tuesday, you could tell they didn’t have as many actors as there were supposed to be with all the awesome hiding spots that weren’t being used. There were a few empty rooms through the haunt. One of the rooms should have had somebody in there cause it’s one of the rooms you remember really well. They had lasers set along the walls to make fog look like it hovered. When we got to the other side I ducked under to see if there had been anyone underneath waiting to pop up. Not a soul was in that room with us. I was kinda disapointed. The other room I really like is the tilted room where you have to hold on to the banister to go up and around. There was this guy with a demon ram mask the came charging up from the center of the room from in the shadows. Good play!!! The most fun I had was the decor where they had a gargoyle that crouched on a pillar the would turn and lean and growl at you as you walked by. I actually thought it was an actor at first until I stopped for a second for a double take. I would definitely come back here on a weekend when everyone’s at full throttle. Good job guys!!!  http://www.13thfloorchicago.com/
