So this is our fourth year at Evil Intentions. Everytime we go to Evil Intentions, it never disappoints. Now there are years that a haunt won’t do as well as the year before. I have never felt that with them. This year was no different as they nailed it once again. The price for this haunt is $25 and fast pass is $35. Evil Intentions is located at 900 Grace St, Elgin, IL 60120.

As we waited outside, they had a lot of actors. The haunt wasn’t open yet, we got there early. The actors were playful and some…not so playful. The doors open and we waited in the waiting room. There wasn’t that many actors in the waiting room but they still kept you entertained. They had on actor climbing all over the cages in the waiting room. I very surprised that this actor did not break his legs while jumping down from the cage. Not once, but multiple times.

We finally get into the haunt and the first thing they do is give your soul to the darkness by doing a ritual. I know what you’re thinking.. does something happen? Well I can’t say, but man it was awesome! Guess you are just going to have to see for yourself. Next, we went on a elevator to the underworld and man I love when haunts do the elevator ride. To me it’s so cool how every haunt does it different. The man operating the elevator tells you to hang on to the railing and he not playing when he says hold on to the railing! It’s a bumpy ride. As we walk through the haunt a lot of stuff stood out. The actors are so good! They would be hiding places you wouldn’t even think of looking. Their acting was amazing. For example, when you get into the doctor’s rooms, (sorry I don’t know what to call it) every single room has an actor that wants a body part and they explain why they need that part. Like one lady wants your hair to put on her doll. Then another one will say “I need your skin, because mine was burned off”. They just don’t just say “oh, give me your teeth”. No they tell you WHY, and you have to open your mouth and they say if they want want your teeth or not. Yes, some haunts do this, but Evil Intentions kind does different interactions with the people throughout the haunt, which is awesome! All I can say is great job to the actors. Keep it up guys!

So part of the haunt is they have a maze that you have to find a way out; and yes, if you don’t pick the right way you will get lost. They also have this room filled with weeping angels. What makes this room so great is you don’t know who is real and who is fake. It messes with your mind. They had this room last year, but they put more mannequins in there to mess with you even more.

This haunt took us 30 minutes to get through. This haunt just throws one good thing after another at you. I came here for the first time 4 years ago. From then to now, there such a big difference. They keep getting better every year. This haunt is a must visit haunt. There is so much to say about what happens inside the haunt, but it’s just one of those haunts that reading a review on it makes you want to go there and experience it for yourself. for tickets go to https://eihaunt.com/
