Entire time it took to go through the haunt was about 20-25 minutes tops.

The 13th Floors line service is a unique experience. There are different types of monsters walking around taking pictures with the customers waiting to get inside of the haunted house. The music that is playing is heavy metal that really sets a mood of despair and makes you feel apprehensive. Needless to say, one of my team members was pretty spooked. In the 13th floor haunted house, there are two main areas. The first is called the possession. at this part of the haunt they had zombie infested town. they also had a cemetery and church that was nicely design. There are a lot of pop up scares from a lot of dark corners. The actors do a very good job of waiting out the duration between each scare. The second major part of 13th Floors is The Dead End district:the cell, which is new this year! they torn down the house theme and redesign the second part of the haunt to look like an entrance to a quarantine facility. We waited five minutes to get spaced from the group people ahead of us; they do this to avoid traffic jams and bottle necking in the haunt to ensuring that each group inside will have a fresh scare. Inside there are monsters, or at least, not your typical zombies. There was a monster that was supposed to be a swamp creature. It had glowing, terrible looking eyes and had some pretty exceptional sound effects with it! There where our types of monster that look amazing in this second part of the haunt but we will let you check it out for yourself. I was scared at least twice inside The Dead End Zone, which is very hard to do and I really enjoyed the experience! Please come down to 13th Floors haunted house in Melrose Park, you won’t survive the fear of October with this haunt! 10/10 guys! Awesome job to the 13 floor crew!!!
