On Sunday September 30th 2018, XW HalloweenBlast team went to Evil Intentions! Evil Intentions Haunted House is located 900 Grace Street in Elgin Illinois. A cool fact is that the building that is being used was originally Elgin Casket company. General Admission Tickets are $25 & VIP Tickets are $35. Conveniently, there is a parking lot right across from the haunted house and parking is free! There was absolutely no line either, but it might be different for when you go as we arrived late in the evening. Thankfully, our walk through only took about 25 to 30 minutes so no one had to stay late.

When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly nurse who told us a story to set the mood before we went into the haunted house. You know how your not supposed to take candy from strangers? Well she gave us candy and we took it happily. So from the start they get very interactive with you. I don’t recommend bringing children under 13 due to intensity but if you do bring them with don’t let them walk alone. I thought we were all going to go through the haunted house together but they split us up which made the experience even more enjoyable and scary. Beware if you have gum in your mouth! The actors will steal it, or at least, the took mine! They will definitely invade your personal bubble. One of the doctors got so close to me, I could practically hear his heart beating. Also, you know those creepy dark tunnels you see in movies? Well, we walked through one of those. I assumed no one was there, but before my eyes could even adjust to the darkness we were being chased! We were not even allowed to run because the ground was damp! The coolest part of the haunted house is that we started inside a building and as we walked through we ended up outside the building walking through a scary forest with monsters hiding in every single crevice. The ground is not just regular flat ground everywhere either. Every single step you take feels like a different kind of terrain, so make sure you wear appropriate shoes! If you like being scared I would highly recommend going to this haunted house. Even though I went last year, I think this years haunted house was way better. Although I do remember some of the scenery, like the nuns in the church and walking up the stairs to be greeted by the undertaker, the acting was much better this year and I was very impressed. I would give this haunted house a 7/10 for the scenery but a 10/10 for scary. Well done Evil Intentions, keep up the great work! To buy ticket please click on the picture!!!!!
