Entire time it took to go through the haunted house was about 20 minutes.
This was our first year at haunted hills hospital. As we arrive we waiting in line to go into the haunt we were greeted by the doctor. The doctor examined all of the Halloween Blast crew. Once in the haunt they had us line up in this stall and wait. Hanging above you was a TV with the rules of the haunt. We have all seen haunts have TV’s in them with the rules right? As I was watching the rules, something caught the corner of my eye. I turned my head, looked up, and I saw one of the monsters looking down at us. That was creepy. For you to be watching the rules and then to look over at someone stairing at you the whole time, that would creep anyone out.
Then we entered the haunt and we see people going insane! They are behind cages to hold them back from touching us. Let me say the actors are, well crazy, and that’s the point. It made you feel like you were in the hospital the whole time with sick patients. There was this one room that stood out. There was this girl in a wheelchair and a doctor was with her. The lady just kept saying crazy stuff so finally the nurse got sick of her and pushed her to face the wall away from us. The wheelchair lady pushed off the wall and started singing spinning across the room. Now that was amazing acting to me because it really felt like that girl in the chair was crazy and needed some serious help. It doesn’t end there. In another room, there was another girl who was telling us about this man and how he was a scientist, but then she started talking about how she loved him and how sexy he is. I think this chick should have been checked in with the other patients! Sound the sirens guys! You missed a crazy!
At the end of the haunt there was a chainsaw guy who would chase you out of the haunt. Now as we were talking to the owner and manager, we would see the guy chasing them out of the haunt. Now, some chainsaw guys would stop when you are out of the haunt. NOT THIS GUY!!!! He will chase you outside until you are at the end of the block!
We drove an hour to get to this place. Let me tell you it was worth the drive. On their youtube page, they challenge the chicagoland area to visit them. We took the challenge, and it did not disappoint! There actors are amazing! The design of the sets are great! Mix both of them together, and you got yourself a great haunt! So if you’re in Indiana, I highly recommend you check them out! 10/10
