The night we went to Realm of Terror was on opening night. So a lot of their actors were getting used to their spot for the night. As we waited in line, there were some actors walking around. One of them snuck up behind my teammate and scared her half to death. She doesn’t scare easily, but this guy got her good. There was also a farmer. He looked like part of his face was either burned or ripped off by his eye. He would walk up to customers asking them for their boogers and would be looking in there nose. He was very entertaining to watch. Finally it was our time to head into the house. Head into the haunt, they have you walking up to a house that they built outside. As we walked up the stairs, we were greeted by Brisket the Cannibal Caretaker, and his pumpkin mannequin bestie, Fred. He was our Rule Master for the night. Finally, we entered the haunt. It was set up really nice and looked like an actual house. Now just to remind you, we were walking through an extreme haunt, so they do get up in your face and into your personal bubble. The story behind this haunt is you walk through the house, you enter a portal and it takes you through the realms of terror. It took us from a normal house, to a realm of blood and gore. There was one room, where there was a lady screaming at the top of her lungs as a blade cut through her stomach. Another room that was really cool, was a church room with a goat devil that was reading from a book. He likes to catch you off guard and come after you. The haunt ended with a 5 min dark maze. You can not see the monsters, but they can see you. So when you are not expecting it, they will pop up out of nowhere and scare you to death. All and all, this is an extreme haunt that will get up and into your face. So, do you think you can take on the Realm of Terror? For tickets go to www.realmofterror.com
