This is our very first haunt that we visited in 2021! Let me just say, Hoppers Haunt did a great job to kick off our 2021 Haunt season. Before we get into our experience we must warn you that some of the flooring is uneven, especially when entering the woods. So we highly recommend you to wear gym shoes. The haunt starts off in a dark maze. Now if you have never been through a dark maze, you can’t see ANYTHING. There might be a surprise hiding in the dark, so watch out!! Now we got to say this, throughout the Hoppers Haunt they have the most amazing artwork on the wall and IT WAS HAND PAINTED. Some of the paintings looked like there popping out of the wall. Another great thing about Hoppers is you do not know where the monsters will pop out at you. We are going to point out that we met the devil. The devil wanted a sacrifice so he followed us through the Haunt. That was really creepy seeing the devil peeking around the corner waiting for the right moment to take you for his sacrifice ritual. Now the devil room was full of bones all over the walls with his summoning table. This room is probably my favorite room in the haunt. The detail Hoppers put into it is incredible. It really shows how much love and passion they put into the haunt. Finally we must talk about the forest. I love the forest because it has this uneasy feeling. Beware when you walk into the forest, strange creatures are all around keep your eyes peeled! The total walk through time is 18 mins. This was a great haunt to kick off the season. So if your in the Rockford area, go check out Hoppers Haunt.
